Returns & Refunds Policy
At Rise & Sage, we want you to love every order – but we know that occasionally things go wrong. We carefully check items before dispatch, but if something arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll do our best to put it right quickly and fairly.
All our orders are processed and dispatched from our trusted fulfilment partner, Ancient Wisdom, based in Sheffield, UK. They handle each order with care and pack every item with intention to ensure it reaches you safely and in beautiful condition.
This returns policy applies to all orders delivered within the UK.
1. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, please contact us within 3 working days of receiving your order.
To help us resolve things swiftly, please email hello@riseandsage.co.uk with:
Your order number
A clear photo of the item (showing the issue)
A brief description of the problem
Depending on the situation, we’ll either:
Issue store credit for the damaged item, or
Arrange a return for inspection and process a credit once received
Please note:
In most cases, we issue a store voucher rather than a replacement or refund.
We may request the item to be returned for quality control.
Return instructions will be provided if needed.
2. Missing Items
If anything’s missing from your order, please notify us within 3 working days of delivery by emailing hello@riseandsage.co.uk with your order number and the item(s) you expected.
Once confirmed, we’ll credit your account for the missing item(s). As with damaged items, we offer credit rather than refunds or replacements.
3. Items Sent in Error
If you receive an item you didn’t order, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll arrange a return label or collection, and if you were charged for the item in error, we’ll issue a full refund.
4. Items Ordered in Error
If you’ve ordered the wrong item or too many of something, please get in touch within 3 working days of receiving your order. Once approved, we’ll send you a returns form and return address.
Please note:
Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
The customer is responsible for return postage costs.
For larger returns, we can arrange a courier collection for £7.50 + VAT (UK mainland only).
The original delivery charge will be deducted from the credit issued.
Important Notes & Exclusions
For hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable unless they are unopened, in original sealed packaging, and have never been worn.
We do not offer refunds, credits, or compensation for:
Delays in delivery
Loss of potential resale
Minor imperfections consistent with handmade, natural, or artisan items
How We'll Handle Returns
Returns must be authorised before sending anything back. Any unauthorised returns may be rejected or not credited.
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email and apply the appropriate store credit to your account.
